A range of all-weather cages which combine healthy natural conditions for insects with good viewing, and ease of use and quick assembly.
All use a high quality ladder resistant netting which is soft, of good transparency ,and so fine that parasitic flies cannot pass through it. I have found this black netting to last at least 2 years of continuous UK outdoor exposure with minimum colour loss. see Netting and Sleeves

Some cage types are capable of satisfying DEFRA quarantine inspection assessment.


CAGE TYPES

FLOWERPOT CAGES are mounted on pots or tubs, and provide an economical means of rearing insects. Suitable for growing or cut plants, these are available in a wide range of sizes.

HANGING CAGES are traditional cages well suited for flying insects, pairing and egg-laying. Open bottom Rearing Cage versions can be suspended over growing potted plant food.
TABLE BREEDING CAGES provide great versatility, and are suitable for a wide range of insects, flying, jumping or crawling. Recommended for insect display.
GROUND FIXING CAGES as the name implies, can be mounted directly over plants in the ground, as well as large pots and tubs. Suitable for a wide range of flying, jumping, crawling insects.
TENT CAGES are constructed and erected like domed camping tents, and provide a large flying or breeding space for summer use. The built in porous groundsheet provides insect tight conditions
